People are asking why LR is different to every other referencing site. Landlord’s Referencing is not about referencing against the information a tenant gives you, it’s about the information they don’t give you! LR gives landlords the chance to protect their investment from scammers and fraudsters. Tenants aren’t going to give you their last landlord if they know they have either ripped them off or damaged/destroyed their property. It is time to get landlords working together towards a common goal of ‘weeding out’ the ‘dodgy’ tenants, and giving good, honest, trustworthy tenants the chance to live in a property that otherwise wouldn’t be available. We know some tenants just want somewhere to live, pay their rent and look after the property they call home. This site will not affect them whatsoever.
